Uniform
All students are encouraged to be proud of their appearance and of their uniforms, the wearing of which has a positive influence on their attitude towards themselves and the school.
The uniform consists of
Light blue shirt. Navy blue tailored trousers or skirt (approximately knee length). Plain black low-heeled shoes.
Jewellery
Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery. If any student needs to wear a piece of jewellery for religious reasons, the parents must first write a request letter to the headteacher.
The request will be considered and write to the parents outlining the reason for refusing the request. Students who have pierced ears are permitted to wear small and discrete studs.
Time
Students must be in prayer hall by 9.15am. We therefore suggest that they aim to arrive on the school site no later than 9.10am.
Attendance and punctuality
The SEI recognises the importance of excellent attendance and punctuality. Clearly the school and parents need to work together to ensure students value the education provided and feel secure in their relationships with staff and each other.
