Application forms for admission to the First Year of the Junior College will be made available on the day the SSLC results of the Karnataka State Board are announced (normally in the second week of June) and on the three subsequent days. The procedures for admission are those laid down by the Government/Deputy Director of Education, and accepted by the College. Students passing the ICSE/CBSE or any examination conducted by a Board outside Karnataka State, should first obtain an application form for a Provisional Eligibility Certificate from the Divisional Secretary, Karnataka State Board of Secondary and Higher secondary Education, before they seek admission to the Junior College. This form, along with the original Marksheet and Migration Certificate and an attested copy each of the Marksheet, Passing Certificate, and the Leaving/Transfer Certificate should be submitted to the College on admission being offered.
Application forms for admission to the First Year Senior College will be made available on the day the HSC results of the Karnataka State Board are announced, usually in the last week of May. Students passing examinations conducted by Boards/Universities outside Karnataka State, should first obtain a provisional eligibility certificate from the Registrar, University of that state. We would like to inform you that the Admission Procedures of the Bangalore University, under instructions from the Government of Karnataka, allow us to make admissions in Arts, Science and Commerce (Junior and Senior College), only on the basis of the overall percentage of marks at the qualifying examination.
